🛡️ AXA Philippines Life and General Insurance Corporation is a Philippine Stock Corporation (SEC Registration No. 0000021938) regulated by the Insurance Commission as a composite life and general insurance company, with its principal office at GT Tower International, Makati City.[1] Originally incorporated in 1962, the entity was formerly known as "Philippine AXA Life Insurance Corporation" and underwent structural changes including mergers with Philam Equitable Life Assurance Company, Inc. (effective 1 April 2022) and Charter Ping-an Insurance Corporation (effective 28 December 2022).[1] Its shareholder structure reflects a joint-venture arrangement involving AXA ASIA (45%), First Metro Investment Corporation (28.18%), and GT Capital Holdings, Inc.
