🛡️ AXA Lebensversicherung AG is a German life insurance company constituted as an Aktiengesellschaft (AG), registered in the Cologne commercial register under HRB 271 and headquartered at Colonia-Allee 10-20, 51067 Köln.[1] The entity was created in 1922 and is wholly owned by AXA Konzern AG, which in turn is controlled by AXA SA as the ultimate parent.[2] As a Solvency II-regulated undertaking, it reported eligible own funds of EUR 1,960,299 thousand and a solvency ratio (SCR coverage) of 328% as of 31 December 2024.[2] Statutory accounts show a balance sheet total of EUR 26,143,726 thousand and HGB equity of EUR 60,498 thousand.[3] Recent structural changes include a pensions demerger effective 1 January 2024 and a portfolio transfer to AGER Lebensversicherung AG effective 1 January 2023, as notified by the Austrian regulator.[4]
